Our Pines Motel History
Historic Main House
The main house was built in 1822 and was purchased by Legrand Parker in 1872. It was apart of an 100 acre farm that stretched all the way to the PA border. The farm harvested grapes and various fruit trees. The full history is available to read in our Motel office.
Classic 1950s Motel
Originally called the Payne Motel, the motel was built in 1950 and originally consisted of 4 rooms with real pickwick knotty pine that is still in place today. The remaining rooms were built in the 1970s.
Sandy Lakeside
The Pines Motel & Cottages were considered a resort where thousands of vacationers would come visit every year. The lakeshore had endless feet of sandy beach
Meet Our Owners
The Pines Motel & Cottages has been operated by husband & wife teams for almost 50 years. Current owners, Paul & Natalie found this gem and knew this is what they were destined to do. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio - they moved to Western NY in 2021 to escape city life, and love rich history and nature WNY has to offer.
